- 90.6% of PISD students are counted in TAAS reports for 2000.
- All numbers represent the percentage of students tested who achieved a minimum passing score, which, according to the TEA, is "equivalent to correctly answering 70% of the items based on the October 1990 exit-level test." Note that this is not the same as getting 70% of the questions correct. In fact, the minimum passing percentage may be as low as 50%!
- The percentage of students tested who achieved the minimum standard on all tests.
- Results for special education, Spanish TAAS, and some other students are not included.
- The percentage change, from the previous year, on the "Passed All Tests" figure.
