If you paid $30,000 for a car, and the brakes were squeaky, you'd bring it back before driving your kids in it. During grades K-12, you'll pay well over $30,000 to the PISD, and you trust them with your kids every day. Remember, it's your money, and they're your kids. If you have a problem, you have to tell somebody. A lot of parents who share their problems with us express a fear that the school will "take it out on their kids" if they rock the boat. There is certainly no shortage of stories that sound very much like PISD seeking vengeance, but, in general, they really aren't capable of that. Here are some ways to contact the district.
